I have a photojournalism degree from the oldest and most prestigious journalism school in the country. TIME Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, and U.S. News and World Report have all hired me to photograph assignments for them. Whether I’m capturing moments for a national audience or for a single family, I draw on my storytelling background to honor the truth in all moments big and small.

I won’t ask you to “do that again”. I won’t ask you to pretend to put on shoes. I won’t ask you to pretend anything. I don’t rearrange rooms or alter anything before I release the shutter. However, I do pay attention. I do anticipate. And I definitely take a burst of images every time I see emotion. I take my cues from the people in front of my camera not the wedding industry. Your relationships deserve to be documented in their full imperfect perfection. You deserve that. The memories of your loved ones deserve that. I’m here to see you and the people you love as you all are. Yes, even your Uncle Tony.

My job isn’t to create beauty. My job is to see the beauty already there.

All work is personal work.
