Caroline and Phil

Caroline and Phil got married at Fort Getty in Jamestown, RI. This is not the first wedding I shot here, but it is the first with McGrath Clambakes. They steamed the lobsters over a bed of hot granite stones and seaweed. I love a good spectacle, especially when there’s a lot of steam and smoke to add a moody layer to the photographs. But what I enjoyed most was working with Caroline and Phil. They had a certain ease about them that made the day feel relaxed, and that provided lots of big and little connections to capture. Between the setting and the people this was such a fun wedding to photograph. Congratulations, Caroline and Phil!
